Aber Falls Single Malt Welsh Whisky is a rich and full-bodied expression from the first whisky distillery in North Wales in over a century, established in 2017. Crafted with 100% Welsh malted barley and fresh Welsh water from the Aber Falls waterfall, it emphasizes local ingredients and sustainability. This core range whisky, often referred to as the 2021 Release, is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, ex-Oloroso and ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry, and virgin oak casks. It offers a balanced profile of fruit, gentle sweetness, and light spice, bottled at 40% ABV.

Juicy and fruity with sultanas, white grape, crisp green apples, poached pears, malted cereal notes, lemon curd, candied orange, vanilla, honey, sweet tobacco spice, dried fruit, clove, earthy coffee, extra dark chocolate, espresso, and forest fruit flavours.
Finish
A little on the short side, hot and spicy with white pepper, baking spices (cinnamon, clove), tobacco spice, grippy texture, luscious, lingering oiliness, creamy texture, vanilla fudge, darker notes of berries and cherries, sherried fruit cake, soft barley spice, dried fruit, and subtle spice.
