Description
Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, released in 2015 as part of 'The Last Great Malts' series. It is matured for sixteen years in a combination of bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a rich and full-bodied profile. The distillery, established in 1898 by John Dewar & Sons, is known for its unpeated malts and uses water from the Pitilie Burn, fabled for containing traces of gold. This expression is celebrated for its balance of sweetness and spiciness, often featuring notes of honey, fruitcake, and dark chocolate.
