Nose
Aromas of mixed spices, praline, spiced orange, harmonising with rich, deep notes of Oloroso Sherry. Also vanilla, milk chocolate, sultanas, caramelized walnuts, cinnamon, marmalade, berries, red apples, brown sugar, dusty barley, cola candy, polished wood, and butterscotch.
Palate
Orange, black cherries, dried fruit, and ginger spiked with dark bitter chocolate and enriched with Sherry and Oak. Full-bodied and creamy. Also raisins, red grapes, candied pear, oak, ginger, black pepper, grassy notes, caramel, toffee, dark fruit compote, cloves, and mocha.
Finish
Robust and intense with bitter-sweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate, and oak. Long and satisfying, with lingering warmth and sweetness. Also spicy oak, raw barley, cocoa, liquorice, and spiced caramel.
