Nose
Terrific aromas of allspice, praline and spiced orange, in harmony with deep notes of Oloroso Sherry, with hints of red apples, caramel, blackberries, raisins, golden raisins, caramel wafer biscuits, dark chocolate, gentle spice, strawberry jam, dunnage warehouse, musty book store, dried fruit, citrus, vanilla, and malt.
Palate
Orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger, spiked with dark bitter chocolate and enriched with lingering Sherry and oak. Full-bodied and creamy with notes of honey, spice, peppery spice, strawberry jam, toffee, oak, raisins, salt, golden syrup, and herbs.
Finish
Long and luscious, with sweetness of red fruit, bittersweet chocolate, spice, oak, orange zest, and a light oak dryness.
