Description

A sherry-led expression from Aberlour, Casg Annamh – Gaelic for 'rare cask' – isn't pulling any punches at 48% ABV. Triple matured in European oak ex-sherry, American oak ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, this is a bold, flavoursome and exceptionally balanced whisky full of fresh fruit, sherried nuttiness and woody spice. It is non-chill filtered to preserve complexity and intensity, and produced in small batches using carefully selected casks.

Palate
Sweet and fruity with apple, peach, and dried fruits, balanced by spicy notes of liquorice, cloves, cinnamon, ginger, and a peppery element. Good mouthfeel with notes of caramel, milk chocolate, and oak.
