Nose
Sweet with dark sherry notes, dark red fruits like blueberries and cherries, bitter chocolate, molasses, old wood, toasted and malted barley, buttered toast, and a faraway hint of smoke. Maritime notes of moss and driftwood are also present.
Palate
Full, mature, and oily. Sweet with dark red fruits, spices, wood, salted caramel, dark chocolate, polished old wooden floor, pepper, cloves, menthol, and licorice. Parma Violets with highland toffee and a touch of smoke creeping through.
Finish
Long, coating, creamy, and floral. Hints of dark chocolate and freshly ground coffee, rich blueberry and buttery pastry notes, with late licorice, coffee beans, and clean floral smoke.
