Description

A malt whisky distillery located in the Hyogo prefecture of Japan. Opened in 1984, it is owned by Eigashima Shuzo, a historic sake producer that first obtained a whisky license in 1919. Originally known as White Oak, the distillery was renamed in 2019 and markets its single malt as Akashi. This particular expression is a 10-year-old single malt matured in an old sherry butt.
