Akashi Single Malt PX Sherry Cask 3 Year Old, Sherry Cask, 2022, 50%

Eigashima has been producing and selling 'Scotch Whisky' since the late 1910s. But after a slap on wrist, they stopped using the term Scotch and instead built a proper distillery to produce real Japanese whisky many years later. The company itself has had some experience when it comes to the spirit industry as it is one of the larger Shuzo producers in Japan. This Akashi Single Malt was aged for 3 years in Pedro Ximenez (PX) Sherry Casks and bottled at 50% ABV. It is a lightly peated Japanese whisky produced at the White Oak Distillery in Akashi, Hyogo Prefecture.
