Description

The Akashi White Oak Blended Whisky is crafted by Eigashima Shuzo, one of Japan's oldest licensed whisky producers. It is a blend of malt and grain whiskies, often aged for three years in bourbon casks and then for a further two years in Japanese oak barrels, or reserved in Japanese Shochu casks before finishing in sherry casks. This blend is known for its smooth and delicate character, attributed in part to the distillery's unique sake-making methodologies and smaller pot stills. It is specifically produced for the European market and is considered a flagship product of the Akashi brand.
