Description

Akkeshi Single Malt Hakuro is the 12th release in the 24 Sekki series, capturing the transition from summer to early autumn. This peated Japanese single malt is distilled by Akkeshi Distillery in Hokkaido, Japan, and aged for a minimum of 3 years in a combination of Hokkaido mizunara, ex-bourbon, ex-sherry, and ex-red wine casks. It is non-age statement and non-chill filtered, bottled at 55% ABV. The whisky is known for its distinctive sandalwood notes and a rich, smoky profile.
