Description

Kanro (meaning "cold drops of dew") has been distilled using peated barley and has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, wine, Mizunara and sherry wood before being married. This is the first release in Akkeshi's '24 Solar Terms' series, which aims to showcase the influence of local climate, wildlife, and agriculture on the whisky. The Akkeshi Distillery is located in Hokkaido, Japan, and is known for its peated single malts.
