Description
The Akkeshi Blended Whisky Kokuu is the 15th release in the distillery's 24 Solar Terms Series. The name 'Kokuu' (穀雨) refers to 'grain rain,' symbolizing the springtime rain that nourishes fields and marks the beginning of grain growth. This Japanese blended whisky, crafted by the Akkeshi Distillery in Hokkaido, combines malt and grain whiskies to achieve a smooth, balanced, and elegant profile. It is known for its deep, robust character with notes of fruit, spice, and a subtle smokiness, reflecting traditional craftsmanship and the natural beauty of Hokkaido. The malt component makes up more than 50% of the blend and was all Hokkaido grown.
