Nose
Big, obvious peat, resembling hay and dried pressed flowers, with charcoal and floral aromas of wildflower meadows. Notes of orange rind, cocoa butter, malted milk, flax, lanolin, marshmallow fluff, campfire, vanilla cream, funnel cake, and sandalwood. [2, 5, 6, 10, 13]
Palate
Banana flavouring, stewed banana, red fruit characteristics, raspberry ripple ice cream, funky berry jam, dried cranberries. Pineapple and dried mango fruit, chocolate, tarragon, mint, white pepper. Kiwi, grilled Concord grapes, vanilla bean, with sweetness and sourness of oranges and mandarins, peat, soy sauce, herbs, and buttered bread. [2, 4, 5, 6, 10, 13]
Finish
Moderate, with an initial saline finish giving way to roasted chestnuts. Dried herbs and flowers, reminiscent of thyme, mint, oregano, and chamomile. Lingering bittersweet notes of smoky fruit skin, white pepper, lime zest, ripe mandarin, and noble spice. [2, 4, 6, 10]
