Description

Amrut Fusion Single Malt Whisky is a unique Indian whisky crafted by Amrut Distilleries in Bangalore. It is a marriage of whiskies made from 75% unpeated Indian barley and 25% peated Scottish barley, both distilled and matured separately in American oak barrels for more than four years. The whiskies are then blended and 'married' for an additional three months in American oak barrels. This non-chill filtered whisky is bottled at 50% ABV and is known for its complex flavor profile with notes of integrated smoke, citrus, tropical fruits, dark chocolate, and malty aromas. Amrut Fusion gained international recognition, being named the third best whisky in the world by Jim Murray's Whisky Bible in 2010.
