Description
A single malt distillery that is part of the wider Amrut Distilleries operation of the N.R. Jagdale Group. Built in 1987, it was the first producer of single malt whisky in India and has achieved widespread acclaim for its eponymous product since its launch in 2004. The 'Greedy Angels' name refers to the significant 'angel's share' (evaporation) experienced during maturation in India's hot climate, making older whiskies like this 10-year-old release particularly rare. This expression is produced from 100% unpeated Indian 6-row barley and aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels.
