Description
The Amrut Peated Indian Single Malt Whisky is distilled in India from Scottish barley, which is malted and dried over an intense peat fire. It is matured in ex-Bourbon American Oak barrels, including first-fill and re-fill casks. The warm Indian climate in Bangalore accelerates the maturation process, with one year of aging in India being equivalent to approximately three years in Scotland. This whisky is typically aged for 4-5 years. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and has no added coloring, preserving its natural flavors and texture. The peat level is around 24 ppm.
