- Rye, less spicy, more fruity. Stewed prunes, ripe mangos, baked pineapple chunks, fruit cake, raisin-rye muffins, dense German rye bread. Hints of cumin, cinnamon, cloves, black currant jam, fig paste. Floral and light with rye dough notes, berries, ripened oranges, lavender, spice dust, and vanilla cream.
- Palate
- Unexpected parade of ripe tropical fruits (guava, mango, papaya), apricot compote, hot cocoa milk, oozing caramel, hazelnut pralines, molasses, golden raisins. Spicy with zaatar, cumin, star anise, nutmeg, Zante currants. Warm and full-bodied with pepper, cloves, anise, and oak. Fruity and honey upfront, kumquat oranges, vanilla cream, velvety with lavender and gentle spices.
- Finish
- Medium long and tart. Freshly squeezed lemon juice, quince paste, pomegranate molasses. Rye bread profile, dark cocoa, cinnamon. Spice dust leading to a gentle and salivating finish.
