Nose
a slight dirty rubberyness, wet ash, some marzipan, sea spray and flint.
Palate
smarties, milk chocolate, simnel, nectarines, the dirtiness is there adding some heft and meatiness, a little heather honey pokes it's way through just. Interesting and different and all told enjoyable. The refill sherry makes it self known but is very much in the back ground.
Finish
For the RRP of £37 it's a cracker, albeit for 50cl.
