Angel's Envy Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a small batch bourbon finished in Port wine casks. It is typically aged for up to 6 years in new American white oak barrels before undergoing a secondary maturation for 3 to 6 months in ruby port wine casks imported from Portugal's Douro Valley. This finishing process, pioneered by Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson, imparts a unique smoothness, sweetness, and complex flavor profile to the whiskey.
