Nose
Rich and very peated with sweet wood smoke, apples, butter toffees, stewed fruit, brine, preserved lemons, pine, and menthol. Earthy pear with light bonfire smoke and some iodine.
Palate
Smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel with pepper, ashes, dark chocolate, and barbeque charcoal. Earthy and smoky with cleansing lemon citrus, faint sweetness, and a big earthy peat smash. Creamy and mocha-like with hints of brine, salt, citrus, apple slices fried in butter, toffee chews, and background cinnamon.
Finish
Medium to short, dry, with dark chocolate, chocolate mousse, pepper, chili, apples, and lasting fruity elements with peat. Earthy barbeque charcoal, light spice, and a sweet bitterness like dark chocolate melting. Smoky peat gently fades.
