Annandale Distillery, resurrected in 2014, produces this 'Man O'Words' Founders Selection Single Cask #96. It is an unpeated Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled in 2016 and matured in a refill ex-Bourbon cask before being bottled at cask strength in 2022. The 'Man O'Words' series is dedicated to Robert Burns, the renowned Scottish Poet and Annan exciseman.

Beautifully sweet notes of cream soda, pear drops, fresh green Granny Smith apple, creamy malt, ginger, cloves, allspice, and floral honey.
Palate
Wonderful burst of tropical fruits including mango, pineapple and cool fresh melon, lingering notes of vanilla and creamy caramel, oaky vanilla, some poached apple, and more warm spices. Nutty hints of hazel and walnut lead into a spicy, tongue coating mouthfeel.
Finish
Spicy and moreish, with a caramel finish.
