Description

Edinburgh based company J & W Hardie were founded in 1857 by James Hardie, and began as Tea blender and wine merchant in Picardy Place, Edinburgh in 1861. The next logical step for the company was whisky blending, and The Antiquary brand was born in 1888, taking its name from the Walter Scott novel. This is a De Luxe Old Scotch Whisky bottling from the 1960s or 1970s, presented in the brand's unique diamond-esque bottle shape.
