Description
The Arbikie Highland Rye 1794 Batch 22 is a single grain Scotch whisky produced by Arbikie, a single farm, field-to-bottle distillery located on the Arbikie Highland Estate in Scotland. This expression is aged in new charred American oak barrels and is bottled at 48% ABV. It is notable as the first Scottish rye whisky in over 100 years, with the '1794' in its name referring to the year Arbikie was first known to be a distillery. The whisky is crafted from a mash bill of winter-harvested Arbikie rye, spring malted barley, and winter wheat, all grown on the estate.
