rich and expansive. Intense smoke, soot, ash, and dense vegetal, saline peat dominate at first. These are followed by beautiful rancio notes of apricot, mango, roasted nuts, and candied orange. With aeration, aromas of salted-butter caramel and heady florals (iris, wild geranium) spread generously through the glass.
