Description

The Ardbeg Auriverdes was released on May 31, 2014, for Ardbeg Day and Feis Ile, named for the golden (auri) whisky and green (verdes) Ardbeg bottle, also referencing the Brazilian flag for the 2014 World Cup. This limited edition single malt is matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels and casks with specially toasted new American oak heads, creating mocha coffee and vanilla notes alongside Ardbeg's signature peatiness.
