Nose
Smoky, sweet, with hints of tobacco, tar, and rubber. Notes of smoked fish, ham, and burnt sugar, reminiscent of a fisherman's village. Also refreshing aromas of herbal tea (chamomile, tilia), wet paper, dusty books, old chalk, soft fruits like apples and melons, sweet almonds, dried seaweed, canvas, and coastal hints.
Palate
Extremely rich and balanced, with incredible smoothness. Features cold ashes, sweet, pastry-like notes, mint syrup, marzipan, nougat, cough drops, sweet liquorice root, honey, anise seeds, and candied ginger.
Finish
Very smooth and long, with lingering notes of mint and cocoa.
