Nose
An enticing, crystal-clear nose, showing hot spices and menthol alongside coalsmokey phenols. Creosote, oil slick, hot rubber, bitumen, coal tar, burnt garlic, gorse bush fire, burnt wood, silage, oats, heather, squash, pepper, acidy, dewy grass, treacle, cocoa, orange zest, aniseed, paprika, and a pebble beach with a fire.
Palate
Very powerful, hot and peppery with distinctive chilli heat. Some honey, youthful leafiness, and exuberance. Aniseed, coriander, shallots, brazil nuts, and bothies.
Finish
Lengthy, massive, warming and still very peppery, with a long chimney-like finish.
