Nose
Smoke rises with a cloying sweetness. Intense, pungent and aromatic, with a distinctive farmyard scent, creosote or tarry rope. Clouds of dark chocolate and mentholic eucalyptus roll in, with hints of green apples, pears, lime, liquorice, and lovage.
Palate
A burst of bittersweetness surges, disturbing ashy coal dust and casting a haze of cardamom, peppermint, and coffee grits. Wisps of aniseed twists, cinnamon balls, and antiseptic lozenges float. Thick ashy smoke, dark chocolate, apples, charred honeyed meat, and cumin. Creamy, buttery texture.
Finish
Long and bold, with an almost anaesthetising sensation. Old coffee, more chocolate, smouldering wood, and minty herbs. Peat smoke and tar, with a hint of chocolate and an herbal note.
