Description

Released in 2004, Ardbeg 1980 Kildalton is a legendary single malt whisky, limited to 1300 bottles. It is a combination of experimental unpeated and lightly peated whiskies distilled at Ardbeg in 1980. These experimental distillations took place between 1979 and 1981, during a period when Ardbeg began producing unpeated malt due to declining demand for peated whisky. Bottled at natural cask strength of 57.6% ABV, it is unchillfiltered. [2, 6, 7, 9, 14, 16, 17]
