Nose
Stables and horse saddles, alongside smoked oysters and dried seaweed. Cleaner, more maritime, with notes of crabs, hessian, seawater, and old ship ropes.
Palate
An uppercut to the chin, brutal in its natural state, with a slight sulphury note. Raw and rustic, featuring salt, tar, bacon, mussels, chocolate, and raisins.
Finish
Long, with more ashes and the rubbery tar typical of Ardbeg, and a black olive.
