The Ardbeg Supernova Committee Release SN2015 is an exceptional and intensely peaty Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled at 54.3% ABV. This 2015 Committee Release marks the culmination of Ardbeg's unique experiment in space, where 'Ardbeg-crafted molecules' were sent to mature aboard the International Space Station. With an exceptional peating level of 100ppm, significantly higher than Ardbeg's usual 55ppm, it delivers a robust smoky character. It was exclusively available to Ardbeg Committee members and is considered a limited edition release, making it highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts.
