Description
Known among collectors as the "Old Ten," this is a former version of the core 10-year-old that was introduced by The Glenmorangie Company in 2000 and bottled using spirit distilled prior to their acquisition of the distillery. It was replaced in 2009 with the "New Ten," which contains single malt produced under their ownership. Ardbeg is a distillery located on the south coast of the Isle of Islay, currently part of the Scotch whisky holdings of LVMH. Despite being closed twice in the latter 20th century, the distillery's heavily-peated single malt has always been highly-regarded.
