Nose
briney smokey arrival, preserved lemons and tinned fruit syrup, apricot, earthy and vegetal peat notes with some dried herbs, coal dust, hot chocolate, overbrewed black tea.
Palate
oily, dark chocolate and dried apricots, crystalline ginger, brooding earthy campfire smoke, marzipan, slightly funky farmyard note I associate more with port Charlotte, burnt peel, pineapple juice and more bonfire smoke.
Finish
more bonfire smoke.
