Nose
Nice, fresh acidic and aromatic lemon, with sweet vanilla and barley. Subtle peat smoke that needs time to manifest, perfumy and slightly buttery. Well-balanced.
Palate
Licorice, clay, and earthy grains. Abundant smoke, with late and mild fruitiness, pineapple, and fatty, sweetish smokiness. Undemanding and of average balance.
Finish
Medium length. Cask didn't do much, probably second or third refill.
