Description

Established as Speciality Drinks in 1999, Elixir Distillers was set up by brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh who are also known for founding the online spirits retail site the Whisky Exchange. The independent bottlers have several ranges including the Single Malts of Scotland, Elements of Islay, and Port Askaig. The Single Malts of Scotland range consists of independent bottlings of vintage single malts. This particular release is a 2009 Ardmore single malt, matured for 12 years in an ex-Laphroaig cask, and bottled in February 2022 at a natural cask strength of 54.1%. Only 245 bottles were produced. It is non-chill filtered and has no added coloring. Ardmore is known for its peated Highland whisky style.
