Description

The Ardnahoe 5 Year Old Feis Ile 2024 is a special limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Ardnahoe Distillery on Islay, bottled for the Fèis Ìle 2024 festival. This 5-year-old expression, bottled in 2024 at a natural cask strength of 59.3% ABV, was matured in a combination of first-fill and refill Bourbon barrels. Only 931 individually numbered bottles were released. The distillery, founded in 2018 by Hunter Laing & Co., began distillation in 2019. This release is non-chill filtered and has natural color.

Ashy peat, caramel, vanilla, citrus, pipe smoke, crusty bread, lemon, tar, antiseptic, hay, sugar cubes, brine, burnt coffee, tropical soda, cola, juicy pineapple, pink peppercorn, cinnamon, creamy vanilla, almond butter, toasted pine nuts, candy cane, smoked pepitas, savoury yams, and a heavy peat cloud with medicinal and coastal notes.

Perfect and long-lasting, with spice from alcohol, peat, sweet notes, smoke, ash, peppery spiciness, darker berries, cinnamon, leather, brine, vanilla, honey, and oakiness.
