Description

The Ardnahoe 6 Year Old Feis Ile 2025 is a limited release single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at cask strength of 59.8% ABV. It was matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon barrels. This is Ardnahoe's second Fèis Ìle bottling, with 1,116 individually numbered bottles available exclusively at the distillery.

Nose
Creamy, lemon, vanilla, a touch of smoke, sweet tart candies, waft of tobacco, slightly astringent synthetic note. With water, more smoke and peat, BBQ sauce, rice crackers, limoncello, buttercream icing, honeycomb, and burnt wood.
Palate
Big, a bit hot, rush of pepper and vanilla, faint heather, honey sweet. Bitterness from dark chocolate, sweet chilli heat, farmyard funk, citrus, honey, chopped apples, subdued peat and smoke, barley sugar. Solid mouthfeel, leaning oily.
Finish
Light caramel, smoke, sweet undertones, lingering nicely. Ash, increased chilli spice, sugar syrup, bonfire-like peat smoke, something bitter and herbal, warmth, peppery spices, pinch of salt.
