Description

This is the first independent bottling of Ardnamurchan Single Malt Scotch whisky, selected and bottled by Adelphi in association with Charles MacLean of MacLean & Bruce. Distilled in 2015 and aged for 5 years, it was matured in two ex-Oloroso Sherry butts (casks #332 and #333) and bottled in 2020. This limited edition release of 1333 bottles celebrates 28 years of Charles MacLean and Adelphi Distillery.

Savoury with nutmeg, orange marmalade, smoked bacon, liquorice root, medicinal peat, fennel, roasted almonds, chocolate, sandalwood, kirsch, syrupy berry jam, mint, orange oil, and dark cherry liqueur chocolates.
Palate
Oily mouthfeel, ginger, salinity, charred lemon peel, liquorice, burlap, salted roasted nuts, tobacco, baked earth, smoked sea salt, edible dried seaweed, roasted sweet chestnuts, new hessian, and autumn bonfires.
Finish
Chocolatey notes, mocha, char, green tea, polished leather, fruit and nut dark chocolate.
