Description
Located upon the breathtaking Loch Sunart, Ardnamurchan distillery is a comparatively new powerhouse which opened for production in 2014. Champions for green manufacturing, the distillery and all of its by-products are environmentally friendly and entirely sustainable. Ardnamurchan uses malt from Broomhill Farm and boasts two whisky styles; one peated and one unpeated, using American and European. This is an official single cask release from the Ardnamurchan distillery, produced from peated malt distilled in 2015, matured for 9 years in a first-fill American oak ex-bourbon barrel, and bottled in 2025 at 56.9%. It is non-chillfiltered and naturally coloured. Only 257 bottles were produced, and this release was bottled exclusively for WhiskyBrother.
