Nose
Coastal peat smoke, vanilla and tangy and bright citrus zest. Salty and lots of minerals up front - slate, especially. Light fruits of golden pear, limes, and moldy lemons, with peppery notes, wildflower honey and vanilla.
Palate
Maritime peat, ripe orchard fruit, warm oak and a gentle, warm black pepper spice. Medium-thick mouthfeel, sharp, briny, and quite peppery peat. Soft oily texture with slate, chalk, lime, sour nectarine, sweet lemon candy, balsamic glaze, butterscotch, and honey.
Finish
Lingering peat with a subtle seaweed salinity. Medium-long with lemon preserve, lemon curd, mango, banana, white pepper, oak, soft bread, malt, tinned pear and coastal salt.
