This Ardnamurchan 2015 6 Year Old 'Ardnagherkin' is an independent bottling by Adelphi. Distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2022, this single cask release (Cask #672) yielded only 253 bottles. It was matured for 6 years in a refill bourbon hogshead that previously held Glen Moray whisky. The whisky was nicknamed 'Ardnagherkin' due to its unusual and distinctive funky notes, which some describe as sour, like pickle juice. It is bottled free from chill filtration at a natural cask strength of 59.9% ABV.

Sour, like sour patch kids with black pepper. Dry, bitter tea leaf flavour, dirty socks, sweat, more pepper with a tingling sensation. Hints of Prosciutto di Parma.
