Description

Arran is one of Scotland's younger distilleries, opened in 1995 in Lochranza on the Isle of Arran. This 17 Year Old expression was a limited release of 9000 bottles, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2014. It was the last release in a trilogy counting down to the launch of the distillery's 18 Year Old core range expression. The whisky is made from unpeated Scottish barley and matured in an even mix of first and second-fill sherry hogsheads and first-fill bourbon barrels. It is non-chill filtered and has natural colour.
