Nose
This whisky has an incredible nose. You can smell the rich Fino Sherry, creamy and delicious. Plenty of stewed fruits, freshly roasted nuts filling a winters air, clotted cream and honeycomb this is a beautifully balanced whisky. It still has that distinct Arran nose of boiled lollies, citrus fruits and a pinch of floral notes. The nose opens further with water.
Palate
Rich and chewy with lots of creamy Fino Sherry, stewed fruits again with citrus. A very complex dram.
Finish
A long mouthcoating finish which would have to compete against some of the big players in the Fino Sherry whisky departments. It does show that it is young in the finish but that was very enjoyable and well I just want more.
