Nose
The wine maturation is very obvious, with a fizzy quality. Floral with hints of violets, cranberry, pomegranate, blackcurrant, and baking spices. Notes of cooked strawberries, a hint of rubber, rosé port, old roses, pink grapefruit, porridge, and metallic notes.
Palate
Very fruity and sweet with toffee, pineapple, mango, kumquat, apricots, and a fizzy quality. Notes of cinnamon, almonds, chili heat, strawberry bubblegum, grapes, vanilla, liquorice, aspirin, mandarin peel, and a tangy dryness from red wine. Malty notes, toffee, and oak spice, mostly pepper.
Finish
Lingering sweetness and a whiff of spices, not too long, slightly hot.
