Nose
Soft and pleasing with honey, vanilla, ripe orange, stewed apple and coconut, balanced with delicate, sherried fruit, juicy grapes, baked berry dessert, dark chocolate, and oak. Light and fresh with lemon meringue, vanilla cream, dough, and malt.
Palate
Almost creamy mouthfeel, starting with bright, slightly bitter, zippy barley, building into a solid, spicy, baked fruit wall of oak and grain. Sweet with malt, orange, apple, vanilla, spice, and a hint of oak. Balanced mix of bourbon and sherry cask flavors.
Finish
Nicely long, fruit, oak and grain linger with a little brine towards the very end. Medium length, sweet, dry bitter oak and fruit.
