Description
Situated in the Firth of Clyde, the island of Arran was once a hotbed of illicit distillation. The Arran distillery at Lochranza started production in 1995. This 15-year-old single malt is the first release in Arran's Rare Batch series, fully matured in French oak casks that previously held red wine from the Médoc region north of Bordeaux. It was bottled in 2021 at 52.8% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with natural color. This limited edition release saw 2580 bottles worldwide.
