Nose
Peaches sauteed in brown sugar, multigrain toast, lingonberry jam, young oak, and a hint of nail polish remover. Red berries, slate-like minerality, apricot flans, balsamic, chocolate, and red wine tannic bitterness. Water adds vanilla, more chocolate, and ovaltine maltiness.
Palate
Very sweet with golden raisins, cinnamon-dusted apples/pears, and toasted pine nuts. Pronounced wine influence with berry fruit, plums, raisins, liquorice, tanned leather, dark chocolate, and astringent vanilla-led oak. Fresh whipped cream, red fruits, and milk chocolate with a subtle St-Émilion red wine presence.
Finish
Rapidly fading with minor oak, slight nuttiness, and apple. Medium length with bitter oak and some boozy rawness. Dates, cream, tropical fruits, and a noticeable red wine influence, with chocolate and pepper lingering.
