Description

The Arran The Sauternes Cask Finish is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Arran Distillery. It is initially matured in traditional oak casks, often ex-bourbon barrels, for approximately 8 years, before undergoing a finishing period in Sauternes wine casks sourced from Bordeaux. This process, overseen by Master Distiller James MacTaggart, imparts sweet and fruity notes to the unpeated whisky. It is bottled at 50% ABV and is non-chill filtered, part of Arran's popular Cask Finishes series.
