Description

A Lowland malt made close by the Clyde, at Auchentoshan Distillery. A quarter-century in a bourbon barrel means a forceful drop, further enchanted by its calvados encounter. Light amber in looks. Sweet green fresh fruit and warming spicy scents. Apples and cinnamon to the fore, from a taste. Ends slow and sweet.

Nose
The atmosphere of an apple orchard. Verdant fruit, warm vanilla custard. A splinter of oak.
Palate
Then savour tangy apple, cinnamon, woody notes once more. Rich and creamy. Coats the palate for a protracted farewell.
Finish
Sweetness, softness and faintly spiced. Lie back in your apple grove, it's a lengthy dénouement.
