Strong wine aromas, grapes, tannin, oak, stewed berries.
Palate
As in the aroma, a strong wine character here too. The port cask added a lot to the flavour. Figs in syrup.
Finish
Slightly drying. Again rich with heavy fruit and a hint of oak in the aftertaste.
